Drew Zimmerman
Drew was born and raised in Illinois in a small-town north of Chicago. When he was 19 and
unsure of what I wanted to do in school, Drew joined the army. He was stationed in Colorado
Springs for 4 years before moving back home to Illinois. After attending a community college
for a year, he decided to transfer to the University of Kentucky where he earned his degree in
Civil Engineering. After visiting his brother - who moved to Kansas City after college – Drew
decided that this was the place he wanted to start his career.
Starting off working for a commercial contractor, he managed daily schedules and activities
with a variety of trades. A year later Drew decided he wanted to get into the residential side of
construction, so he worked for a local home builder as a project manager. After meeting (now
his current boss) a residential engineer, he decided to give engineering a try.
Drew has now been with Evertead since September 2021, mostly focusing on remodels, new
home designs, and additions.
Drew is currently working with his business partner and managing 4 rental units. He has flipped
multiple properties in the past and has a passion for home building and remodeling. Because of
this, Drew decided to expand his field of knowledge, by pursuing a real estate license.
Learning every aspect of a home from building to buying/selling, Drew has really enjoyed the
entire process.
Drew spends most weekends at the dog park with his dog named Ghost. He is passionate about
traveling, going to the gym, building and fixing things, and exploring new places to eat and
drink!
