Andrea Buettner-Wardell is the founder and managing broker of Wardell & Holmes Real Estate. With more than 18 years of experience and real estate licenses in Missouri, Kansas, and Colorado, she has worked across residential, commercial, leasing, development, and investment real estate.

Andrea began her career during the 2008 financial crisis, an experience that shaped the practical, investment-focused approach she still brings to every transaction. She believes every client is an investor, whether they are purchasing their first home, growing a rental portfolio, acquiring commercial property, or planning a larger development. Her guidance is centered on helping clients understand long-term value, evaluate opportunities carefully, and make confident real estate decisions.

In 2018, Andrea founded Wardell & Holmes Real Estate with a vision of creating a collaborative, knowledgeable, and community-minded brokerage. Under her leadership, the company has grown into one of Kansas City’s recognized boutique brokerages, serving local homeowners, investors, developers, and clients from across the country and around the world. She is especially experienced in multifamily properties, off-market acquisitions, land and infill development, distressed assets, historic properties, and value-add investment opportunities.

Andrea is also a dedicated mentor who enjoys helping agents develop their skills, strengthen their businesses, and better serve their clients. Her work throughout Kansas City reflects her belief that thoughtful real estate investment can create lasting value for both property owners and the communities around them.

Outside of real estate, Andrea enjoys live music, traveling, discovering great food and wine, and spending time with the people closest to her. She brings the same energy to her personal life that she brings to her business: work hard, build meaningful relationships, and invest in what matters.
