Originally from Alberta, Canada, Kayla Mason made her way to the U.S. in 2014 when her career as a turbine specialist in the natural gas industry brought her to Los Angeles. A year later, she relocated to Kansas City and quickly knew it was home.

Kayla and her husband began investing in real estate in 2017, starting with their first family home in Lenexa, KS. Since then, they’ve completed over 500 real estate transactions, gaining deep experience in the Kansas City market and surrounding areas.

Driven by a passion for health and wellness, Kayla earned her yoga teaching certification and began hosting wellness summits in Kansas City. That same passion sparked her interest in short-term rentals, with a focus on mindfulness and intentional design. In 2019, she purchased and renovated her first A-frame cabin at Lake of the Ozarks. Now in its fifth rental season, the property offers guests a serene escape. In 2021, she completed a BRRRR project on a second A-frame in Excelsior Springs—her love for unique, character-filled properties continues to grow.
