Tommy was born and raised in Liberty, MO. He is still a proud Northlander living in Parkville, MO, with his wife, Tonya of 13 years, and daughter, Emerson, age 10. He graduated from Missouri State University in 2001 with a degree in Geography, Community and Regional Planning. He then began his real estate career in 2002 as a residential specialist and found passion in all facets of real estate: residential, short-term rental, and commercial.

He is active in the short-term rental business in Sapphire Beach, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, engaging in buying, selling, renovating, as well as long-term rentals. He is also active in the USVI and BVI real estate markets.

Since 2001, he has been the sole proprietor of Tom Durden Sales, a furniture manufacturer's representative marketing business, focusing on outdoor living products. He covers a Midwestern sales territory including Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, South Dakota, and North Dakota.

He enjoys cultivating relationships with clients that extend for life. Working with repeat clients is the most rewarding, whether guiding them to their first home, towards investments, or ultimately to commercial real estate.
