Columbus Park is on the verge of welcoming its first major development in over 13 years. Developers DAK Pacific, experienced players in the Kansas City real estate market, are set to revitalize the area with a collection of ten luxury townhomes. This marks a significant step forward for the neighborhood, which has been home to a vacant lot for over 20 years.

Townhome Details

The project will feature a variety of townhome options to suit different lifestyles. There will be ten units in total, ranging in size and layout:

Eight 3-bed, 3.5-bath units (2,316 sq. ft.)
End units: $665,000
Middle units: $640,000

One 1-bed, 1-bath unit (1,622 sq. ft.)
Priced at $495,000

One 3-bed, 3.5-bath unit (2,521 sq. ft.)
Priced at $795,000

The first block of four units is expected to be completed by mid-October, while the remaining six will be ready by December 31. Currently, only the initial block of four units is listed, with prices for other units subject to change.

Apartment Development
In addition to the townhomes, DAK Pacific is also developing ten 1-bed, 1-bath apartment units. Final rental prices are not confirmed.

Long-term Incentives
The project has secured a 75% tax abatement for the next 10 years, a significant incentive for buyers looking to invest in this growing neighborhood. With Columbus Park poised for resurgence, this new development will serve as a cornerstone of the area’s revitalization efforts.
